High-pressure laboratory autoclave Model IV Basic version
High-pressure laboratory autoclave model IV 500 ml/100 bar, cup and head High-pressure laboratory autoclave model IV 500 m1/100 bar. Model IV is the largest autoclave within the delivery package. This is basically the improved archetype, from which all other models have been developed. The model IV consists of a stainless steel cup with flange, on which the solid stainless steel lid is secured with eight screws. The autoclave head is standard intended for use with a large rupture disc and therefore offers high operational safety in case of spontaneous gas development or rapid pressure increase. The enlarged autoclave is screwed directly onto the cylindrical cup. This contains the rupture disc holder on the top and three threaded openings on the side for the connection of valve, reduction piece for pressure gauge and temperature sensor. When using the magnetic stirrer, the rupture disc protection II can be attached. The threaded openings can also be closed with a screw plug. Sealing rings from PTFE (up to 180 °C) or from fine silver (up to 300 °C) are used as seals. The rupture disc must be sealed with a silver seal (with the PTFE sealing kit included) Technical data: model IV, 500 ml consisting of cup and cup plus 8 bolts and nuts Empty space: 700 ml Working volume: 500ml Height: 425 mm Material stainless steel 316 L Working temperature: -60 °C to 400 °C Working pressure: maximum 100 bar Test pressure: 300 bar at +20 °C Outer diameter cup: 60 mm Inner diameter cup: 50mm Outer diameter lid: 125 mm Bottom shape: outside and
