Round bottom flask with standard ground joint

Round bottom single-neck flask with standard ground joint.

They are used as reaction vessels, fitted with a standard ground joint allowing connection to other elements of the apparatus or closed with a stopper. It has a white label field.

Round bottom flasks are used in laboratory techniques, for example distillation or extraction (using the Soxhlet apparatus). Due to their shape they allow uniform heating, e.g. in heating mantles, of the substances contained therein and allow them to work under reduced pressure, e.g. vacuum distillation or use in vacuum evaporators.

The flask has excellent chemical and thermal resistance (including resistance to sudden temperature changes).
