Kookpuntbenzine met een kookpunt tussen de 40 en 65 graden celcius. Laagkokend oplosmiddel met groot oplossend en ontvettend vermogen.

Kookpuntbenzine wordt ook wel Petroleumether genoemd hoewel het niet een ether is maar een mengsel van alkanen.
